
Angus Button joined the New Horizons Board in April 2021, driven by a deep personal understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and families during difficult times. His firsthand experiences fuel his passion for supporting New Horizons’ mission to provide compassionate and effective services. Angus believes in the power of small, positive actions to make a significant difference and is dedicated to ensuring people feel supported and not alone. His involvement with New Horizons brings him immense satisfaction, knowing he actively contributes to initiatives that offer understanding and assistance to those in need.
Angus built and operated his own Managed Service Provider (MSP) business for 18 years before co-founding Disruptech, where he introduces innovative cybersecurity frameworks to the Asia-Pacific region. As a recognised industry expert, his operational experience provides unique insights into the needs of service providers. Angus is also instrumental in Disruptech’s partnership with Crime Stoppers NSW as their “Cyber-crime Prevention Partner,” demonstrating his commitment to community resilience. A member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD), Angus applies his strategic thinking and leadership skills to create meaningful social impact through his role at New Horizons.
