Slaymon Anwaryar is the General Manager of Finance and Product at New Horizons, a position he has proudly held since March 2023. With a strong dedication to community service and a passion for supporting the most vulnerable individuals, Slaymon chose to thrive in an industry that aligns with his values of empathy and care.

Slaymon began his career in finance after completing his Economics degree at the University of Sydney. His professional journey took off in late 2009 when he joined Veolia Environmental Services as an Assistant Accountant. During this pivotal time, he achieved his CPA certification, becoming a qualified accountant. This accomplishment marked the beginning of a dynamic career where he embraced various finance and commercial roles, including Business Analyst, Management Accountant, and Business Partner.

Over the past decade, Slaymon has successfully led teams across diverse sectors, including technology, renewable energy, and healthcare. His leadership at New Horizons encompasses overseeing Finance Operations, Financial Planning and Analysis, Product and Tenders, Support Coordination, and Process Engineering, where he nurtures a talented and inclusive team.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Slaymon is deeply committed to giving back to the community. On Friday afternoons, you can often find him volunteering at a Marree Connection food run, providing support to those in need. He also has a passion for running, enjoying the thrill of the runner’s high despite having modest running times. At the core of Slaymon’s life are his faith and family, which serve as his guiding pillars.
